Parents of college-bound students are welcome to attend a free seminar hosted by Mr. Canty and Bridget Hotrum of College Bound Admissions Academy. This seminar will include information on FAFSA, financial aid, scholarships, and more. Please fill out the Google Form below if you plan to attend.

On September 29, 2023, the Carlynton School District will operate on a two hour delay schedule for all students districtwide.  Transportation will be provided for all students.  Pick up times will be delayed by two hours.  Students will have the opportunity to participate in the breakfast program.  

There will be three more scheduled two hour delays on the following dates:

October 27, 2023

January 19, 2024

February 16, 2024

The purpose of the two hour delays is to provide faculty and administrators time to examine student performance data to assist with the delivery of personalized instruction.  Examination of student performance data is extremely important when identifying the individual needs of students.  Our goal is to close achievement gaps while accelerating learning to prepare students for success. 

Carlynton School District is pleased to announce that the “Smile Program Mobile Dentists'' will be coming to our schools again this year. This is an easy way for your children to receive their dental screenings, cleanings, and fluoride treatments (and when applicable, xrays and sealants are also offered. ). Children with Medicaid, CHIP, or dental insurance, as well as those who are not covered under any plan are welcome.
