Crafton teacher wins national honor
Crafton Elementary teacher Susan Kosko has been named the 2016 Humane Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Kosko was selected for her efforts to include humane lessons in the reading curriculum.
Elementary schools to host Cultural Days
The elementary schools are preparing for upcoming Cultural Days, May 13 at Carnegie Elementary, and May 14 at Crafton Elementary.
Transition Night for Parents
A junior to senior high school Transition Night will be held May 16, from 6-7 pm in the Carnegie Elementary School auditorium for parents of current eighth and ninth graders.

Welcome to Carlynton

The Carlynton School District, located just six miles southwest of Pittsburgh is a small district uniting three proud communities, Carnegie, Crafton and Rosslyn Farms, with various ethnic, racial and socioeconomic populations.  Our schools offer small class sizes that allow for a personal approach to instruction.  We present a challenging curriculum to encourage all students to excel as independent thinkers and life-long learners, while offering each the support and motivation to do so with success.
