Shoes for Nicaragua
This is the image for the news article titled Shoes for NicaraguaThe Carnegie Elementary Early Act Club is collecting new and gently-used shoes for the Shoes for Nicaragua program. Children in Nicaragua must have shoes on their feet in order to attend school. Unfortunately, many do not own shoes and cannot get a formal education.

The club, in association with the Carnegie-Collier Rotary, will be collecting shoes of all sizes throughout the month of January. Childrens and adult-sized shoes are most welcome. All donations can be dropped off at Carnegie Elementary or Carlynton Junior-Senior High School. Shoes dropped off at the junior-senior high school will be forwarded to Carnegie Elementary.

The Early Act Club is a younger segment of the high school Interact Club. Both organizations are sponsored by local rotaries and support community service activities for students of all ages.
