The  official last day of school for students is Friday, May 29, 2020.  By ending school one week earlier than anticipated, our professional staff will have the opportunity to assist with this collection of school property and return personal property to our students.  Additionally, our teachers will have time to collaborate with one another to determine areas of our curriculum that will require reinforcement next year.  Other will use the time to receive additional training to enhance technology skills.

To close out the 2019-2020 school year, the school district will be holding curbside collection
days for textbooks, Chromebooks, athletic uniforms, library books and any other school property. The curbside collection will also give students the chance to retrieve personal property left behind in lockers and classroom.

Procedures for curbside drop off/pick up are detailed by school building below:




Carlynton Junior Senior High School - 
Grades 7-11

To return school property to the school, students/parents/guardians are asked to report by grade level at the dates and times listed below: 

Grade 7       Monday, June 1 – 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM  
Grade 8    Tuesday, June 2 - 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM 
Grade 9    Wednesday, June 3 - 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM 
Grade 10    Thursday, June 4 - 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM 
Grade 11
  Friday, June 5 - 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM 

In order to drop off all school supplies, please drive slowly up the school driveway, pull around the loop and stop in front of the gymnasium entrance. 

 Please remain in your vehicle. School personnel will approach the car to collect all textbooks and Chromebooks. If your child left personal items in his/her locker, these items will be brought to your vehicle. 

 Musical Instruments - If your child needs to retrieve his/her musical instrument, the instrument will be delivered to your car. 

 Yearbooks - Due to the pandemic closures, the yearbook shipment has been delayed. Information will be provided for distribution when the yearbooks arrive.



Carnegie Elementary School - Grades K-6

Students are to return all District property including textbooks, Chromebooks, library books and other school supplies at the specified dates and times for each grade level outlined below.  On these days, students will also receive all personal belongings left behind in the school on March 13.
