Carnegie Elementary Principal Lauren Baughman and teachers are eagerly gearing up for the start of the 2021-2022 school year.
As the first day of school approaches, the principal and teachers are pleased to invite parents to a number of orientation options that will offer a wealth of information for families.
Through a partnership with Literacy Pgh and Hello Neighbor, informational sessions will be offered to ESL families.
Parent Information Nights are also scheduled, along with Kindergarten Orientation and New Student Orientation. A “CHILL Room Back to School Night” is also planned to help parents learn more about the Chill Room and the programs and services it provides to students.

The first day of school for students is Monday, August 30th!The staff of Carnegie Elementary School is excited to start the school year and looks forward to welcoming students into the classrooms for a year of learning, enrichment and fun!
As a reminder, and for the health and safety of children, masks will be required for students in grades K-6 for the start of the 2021-2022 school year. This requirement aligns with the District Health and Safety Plan, available for review HERE.
