Carlynton Junior-Senior High School principals, Mr. Michael Loughren and Ms. Emily Skirtich, cordially invite all seventh grade students and families to orientation, to be held August 19th at 6:00 PM. The event will begin in the school auditorium.
Following some introductions and general information in the auditorium, upperclassmen will lead new seventh graders on tours of the building. The student leaders will showcase the school by allowing incoming students to familiarize themselves with the layout and location of classrooms, the gym, swimming pool and more. There will also be time to check out lockers and to practice opening combination locks, as well as the occasion for students and parents to ask questions.
The principals look forward to a tremendous school year where students will find a sense of pride and belonging within the school community as they strive for academic excellence.
Orientation will conclude with an ice cream social in the cafeteria.
