Join the Class of 2021 as they celebrate the 50th anniversary of Carlynton High School, Friday, May 14, 5:00 pm, in the school’s circle located near the gym.
The evening, hosted by Class President Natali Lutsiv, Vice President Rodrigo Corral and Secretary Gina Ulizzi, will feature a special ceremony, highlighted by the opening of a 50+year old time capsule. The capsule, encased beneath brick and mortar in a corner section of the building, will be opened and its contents revealed during the ceremony.
The Class of 2021, Carlynton’s 50th graduating class, will add a number of present-day items to the capsule before it is resealed.
Parents, students, community members, teachers and alumni are invited to attend this exclusive event. Guest speakers include members of the Class of 1971, the first class to attend "the ground-breaking high school on the hill, designed to meet the needs of tomorrow.”
Following the outdoor ceremony, guided tours of the school will be offered and led by students. Light refreshments will be served and guests can view a historic display of photos showcasing the construction phase of the high school and a collection of memorabilia!
Don’t miss this memorable evening, designed to share the past through the eyes of today’s students.

Carlynton School District alumni or former teachers who has a favorite memory or memorabilia to share, are asked to email Mrs. Michale Herrmann, at [email protected].
