2.       Recommend approval of the agreement between the District and Allegheny General Hospital for athletic training coverage for athletic events for the period of July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2008 as presented. (Miscellaneous Item #0906-1)

 

3.       Recommend approval to acquire the services of Grubb Consulting Services, Inc. for 20 days during the 2006-2007 school year at a cost of $500 per day. (Miscellaneous Item #0906-2)

 

4.       I move to approve the charter for the tax survey committee for the Carlynton School District as directed by Special Session Act I of 2006 and recommended as presented by the District solicitor. (Miscellaneous Item #0906-3)

 

5.       I move to approve Resolution No. 415-06 for the Carlynton School District which appoints a Local Tax Study Commission of ___ members
as directed by Special Session Act I of 2006 and as recommended by the District solicitor. (Miscellaneous Item #0906-4)

 

6.       I move to approve the list of school crossing guards for the Borough of Crafton as submitted. (Miscellaneous Item #0906-5)

 

7.       I move to approve the list of school crossing guards for the Borough of Carnegie as submitted. (Miscellaneous Item #0906-6)

8.       I move to approve the new PSSA Writing Remediation Curriculum as recommended by the department chair and administrative staff. (Curriculum Item #0906-1)

 

9.       I move to approve the new PSSA Mathematics Curriculum as recommended by the department chair and administrative staff. (Curriculum Item #0906-2)

10.   Recommend approval of the Treasurer’s Report for the month of August 2006 as presented.  TBP

 

11.   Recommend approval of the August 2006 bills in the amount of $__________ as presented.  TBP

 

12.   Recommend approval of the Rosslyn Farms Real Estate Tax Refunds as presented. (Finance Item #0906-1) TBP

·   Personnel

 

14.   I move to approve the additions to the Day-to-Day Substitute List for the 2006-2007 school year, as presented and recommended by the administrative staff. (Personnel Item #0906-1)

 

15.   I move to approve the additions to the Athletic Supplemental Contracts for the 2006-2007 school year, as recommended by the administrative staff. (Personnel Item #0906-2) TBP

 

16.   Recommend approval of the annual and semi-annual ratings for Temporary Professional Employees and Professional Employees for the 2005-2006 school year and that these ratings be filed with the
appropriate agencies consistent with Section 1008 of the PA School Code.

 

 

 

17.   Recommend approval of the list of Professional Employee Contracts to those who have completed three years of satisfactory services as submitted by the administrative staff and consistent with the provisions of Section 1108 of the PA School Code. (Personnel Item #0906-3)

 

18.   Recommend approval of the recommended salary increase for Superintendent Michael A. Panza for the 2006-2007 school year as presented and effective August 1, 2006. (Personnel Item #0906-4)

 

19.   I move to approve _____________ for the position of Instructional Aide at Crafton Elementary School, effective September 6, 2006, and consistent with the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining unit agreement. (Personnel Item #0906-5) TBP
