3.       I move to reschedule the meeting of June 15, 2006 to June 29, 2006 and to advertise accordingly.

 

4.       I move to reappoint Dr. Edward Snell as school physician for the 2006-2007 school year under the stipulations contained in the established board policy. (Miscellaneous Item #0506-2)

 

5.       I move to reappoint Dr. Charles Sakai and Dr. Albert Sulzer as dental examiners for the 2006-2007 school year under the stipulations contained in the established board policy.

 

6.       I move to reappoint Drs. Lisa and Michael Cross as eye examiners for the 2006-2007 school year under the stipulations contained in the established board policy.

7.       I move to approve the proposed rubric which will determine placement of students in seventh grade advanced math as recommended by the Education Committee. (Curriculum Item #0506-1)

 

8.       I move to approve the proposed elementary report card for grades four through six as recommended by the Education Committee. (Curriculum Item #0506-2)

 

9.       I move to approve the proposed guidelines for Title 1 eligibility as recommended by the Education Committee. (Curriculum Item #0506-3)

10.   I move to approve the Treasurer’s Report for the month of April 2006 as presented.  

 

11.   I move to approve the April 2006 bills in the amount of $1,501,089.53 as presented.

 

12.   I move to approve the Carnegie Real Estate Tax Refunds for May 2006 as submitted. (Finance Item #0506-1)

 

13.   I move to approve the Addendum to the Aramark School and Support Services Contract which reflects the purchase of the Nutrikids
Point of
Sale Technology System for the cafeterias for the 2006-2007 school year as presented. (Finance Item #0506-2)

 

14.   I move to reappoint of Sandra Hughan as Treasurer of the Carlynton School District for the term beginning July 1, 2006 and ending June 30, 2007.

 

15.   * I move to approve a request for acquiring State Income Tax information from the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue for the 2002, 2003 and 2004 tax years, and that this information be placed on CD-ROM for processing by Jordan Tax Services, Inc., who will then share all appropriate information with Centax as needed. 16.   * I move to authorize The Law Offices of Ira Weiss to oversee all county assessment appeals on behalf of the District and take action as necessary. (Finance Item #0506-4)

 

17.   * I move to approve the Educational Services Agreement with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit for special education services for the 2006-2007 school year as presented. (Finance Item #0506-5)

18.   I move to approve the additions to the Day-to-Day Substitute List for the 2005-2006 school year as presented and recommended by the administrative staff. (Personnel Item #0506-1)

 

19.   I move to approve the 2006-2007 Athletic Supplemental Contract List as presented and recommended by the administrative staff and grant approval to post all open positions under the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining unit agreement. (Personnel Item #0506-2)

 

20.   I move to approve the 2006-2007 Activities Supplemental Contract List as presented and recommended by the administrative staff and grant approval to post all open positions under the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining unit agreement. (Personnel Item #0506-3)

22.   I move to approve Dr. Robert Susini for the position of principal of the Carlynton Junior-Senior High School as presented, effective July 1, 2006, under the terms and conditions of the Act 93 agreement. (Personnel Item #0506-5)

 

23.   I move to approve ___________ for the position of special education teacher for an elementary extended school year program to be conducted at Carnegie Elementary beginning June 26 through July 14, 2006. (Personnel Item #0506-6) TBP

 

24.   I move to amend the job description for the secondary Gifted Education program to include communications and/or special education degree requirements.

 

25.   I move to approve the five recommended candidates for the positions of temporary summer maintenance helpers as presented, beginning June 12, 2006 through August 18, 2006, with terms and conditions consistent with the collective bargaining unit agreement. (Personnel Item #0506-7) TBP

 

26.   I move to approve the 12 recommended candidates for summer custodial helpers/alternates as presented, beginning June 12, 2006 through August 18, 2006, at an hourly rate of $7.00. (Personnel Item #0506-8) TBP

 

  1. I move to approve Michael Dudicz for the position of temporary summer head custodian, effective June 12, 2006 through August 18, 2006, with terms and conditions consistent with the collective bargaining unit agreement. (Personnel Item #0506-9)
