2.       I move to approve the field trip and conference requests as presented. (Miscellaneous Item #0506-1)

 

3.       Recommend approval to reschedule the meeting of June 15, 2006 to June 29, 2006.

 

4.       Recommend approval to reappoint Dr. Edward Snell as school physician for the 2006-2007 school year under the stipulations contained in the established board policy. (Miscellaneous Item #0506-2)

 

5.       Recommend approval to reappoint Dr. Charles Sakai and Dr. Albert Sulzer as dental examiners for the 2006-2007 school year under the stipulations contained in the established board policy.

 

6.       Recommend approval to reappoint Drs. Lisa and Michael Cross as eye examiners for the 2006-2007 school year under the stipulations contained in the established board policy.

7.       Recommend approval of the proposed rubric which will determine placement of students in seventh grade advanced math as recommended by the Education Committee. (Curriculum Item #0506-1)

 

8.       Recommend approval of the proposed elementary report card for grades four through six as recommended by the Education Committee. (Curriculum Item #0506-2) TBP

10.   Recommend approval of the Treasurer’s Report for the month of April 2006 as presented.  TBP

13.   Recommend approval of the Addendum to the Aramark School and Support Services Contract which reflects the purchase of the Nutrikids
Point of
Sale Technology System for the cafeterias for the 2006-2007 school year as presented. (Finance Item #0506-2)

 

14.   I move to approve the of the 2006-2007 preliminary budget in the amount of $22,096,241, which represents no millage rate increase, and that it be advertised for a period of 30 days prior to the adoption of the annual budget in accordance with Section 687 of the PA School Code. (Finance Item #0506-3)

 

15.   Recommend the appointment of ____________ to serve as Treasurer of the Carlynton School District for the term beginning July 1, 2006 and ending June 30, 2007.

 

16.   I move to approve the lowest responsible bid by the company Colours to paint the storage facility at Honus Wagner Field and the field house at the Crafton Athletic Field for a fee of $1,350 plus the paint. (Finance Item #0506-4)

 

17.   Recommend approval of the Crafton Audit Report as presented by Hosack, Specht, Muetzel and Wood. (Finance Item #0506-5)

18.   Recommend approval of the addition to the Day-to-Day Substitute List for the 2005-2006 school year as presented and recommended by the administrative staff. (Personnel Item #0506-1)

 

19.   Recommend approval of the 2006-2007 Athletic Supplemental Contract List as presented and recommended by the administrative staff and the approval to post all open positions under the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining unit agreement. (Personnel Item #0506-2)

 

20.   Recommend approval of the 2006-2007 Activities Supplemental Contract List as presented and recommended by the administrative staff and approval to post all open positions under the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining unit agreement. (Personnel Item #0506-3)

 

21.   Recommend approval of the 2006-2007 Curriculum Coordinator Supplemental Contract List as presented and recommended by the administrative staff and approval to post all open positions under the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining unit agreement. (Personnel Item #0506-4)

 

22.   Recommend approval of Dr. Robert Susini for the position of principal of the Carlynton Junior-Senior High School as presented, effective July 1, 2006, under the terms and conditions of the Act 93 agreement. (Personnel Item #0506-5)

 

23.   Recommend approval of ___________ for the position of special education teacher for an elementary extended school year program to be conducted at Carnegie Elementary beginning June 26 through July 14, 2006. (Personnel Item #0506-6) TBP

 

24.   Recommend approval to amend the job description for the Gifted Education program to include communications and/or special education degree requirements.

 

25.   I move to approve the proposed professional and non-professional staffing list for the 2006-2007 school year as recommended by the administrative staff and that authorization be provide to notify affected employees of furlough and/or suspension. (Personnel Item #0506-7)

 

26.   Recommend approval of the five proposed candidates for the positions of temporary summer maintenance helpers as presented, beginning June 12, 2006 through August 25, 2006, with terms and conditions consistent with the collective bargaining unit agreement. (Personnel Item #0506-8) TBP

 

27.   Recommend approval of the 12 recommended candidates for summer custodial helpers and alternates as presented, beginning June 12, 2006 through August 25, 2006, at an hourly rate of $7.00. (Personnel Item #0506-9) TBP

 

  1. Recommend approval of ___________ for the position of temporary summer head custodian, effective June 12, 2006 through August 23, 2006, with terms and conditions consistent with the collective bargaining unit agreement. (Personnel Item #0506-10) TBP
