3.       I move to approve Resolution No. 410-06, as presented, whereby the Carlynton School District seeks funding equity, oversight and accountability of charter schools in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. (Miscellaneous Item #0206-3)

4.       I move to approve the Treasurer’s Report for the month of January 2006 as presented.

 

5.       I move to approve the January 2006 bills in the amount of $1,430,815.76 as presented.

 

6.       I move to approve Resolution No. 411-06, as presented, whereby the Carlynton School District enacts a supplemental Realty Transfer Tax so as to comply with the requirements of Act 40 of 2005 concerning transfers which are taxable, and authorizing the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue to collect and enforce the tax when necessary, and authorizing the treasurer to share information with the Department of Revenue. 7.       * I move to approve the audit of the Rosslyn Farms Earned Income Tax Collector for the year ended June 30, 2005 as presented by Hosack, Specht, Muetzel and Wood. (Finance Item #0206-2)

 

8.       * I move to approve the Carnegie Real Estate Tax Refunds for February 2006 as presented. (Finance Item #0206-3)

 

9.       * I move to approve the Crafton Real Estate Tax Refunds for February 2006 as presented. (Finance Item #0206-4)

 

10.   * I move to approve the December 2005 Cafeteria Report as presented by Aramark Educational Services. (Finance Item #0206-5)

13.   I move to approve the request of Carnegie Elementary teacher Mandy Turnbull for a child bearing leave beginning on or about April 18, 2006 as presented. (Personnel Item #0206-2)

 

14.   I move to approve Shirley Lamb for the position of General Cafeteria Worker at Carnegie Elementary, effective February 17, 2006, due to the resignation of Joanne Brady.  Salary and benefits will be consistent with the collective bargaining unit agreement. (Personnel Item #0206-3)

 

15.   I move to approve the letter of intent to retire for high school social studies teacher William Tomasic, effective the last day of the 2005-2006 school year, under the terms and conditions provided by the retirement system and the collective bargaining unit agreement. (Personnel Item #0206-4)

 

16.   I move to approve the letter of intent to retire for Carnegie Elementary teacher John Torchia, effective the last day of the 2005-2006 school year, under the terms and conditions provided by the retirement system and the collective bargaining unit agreement. (Personnel Item #0206-5)

 

17.   I move to approve the letter of intent to retire for high school social studies teacher Thomas Perrin, effective the last day of the 2005-2006 school year, under the terms and conditions provided by the retirement system and the collective bargaining unit agreement. 18.   I move to approve the letter of intent to retire for Carlynton Junior-Senior High School Principal James Muraco, effective June 30, 2006, under the terms and conditions provided by the retirement system and the Act 93 Agreement. (Personnel Item #0206-7)
