2.       I move to approve the field trip and conference requests as presented. (Miscellaneous Item #0106-1)

3.       I move to approve and implement the recommendation of the Education Committee to administer the Terra Nova assessment in the spring of each school year, beginning the spring of 2007.

 

4.       I move to approve and implement the recommendation of the Education Committee that students in grades 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 9 and 10 participate in the Terra Nova testing program until the Department of Education takes over any of these programs. Students in grades 3, 5, 8 and 11 will only take the PSSA.

5.       I move to approve the Treasurer’s Report for the months of November 2005 and December 2005 as presented.

 

6.       I move to approve the November 2005 bills in the amount of $1,759,170.17 as presented.

 

7.       I move to approve the December 2005 bills in the amount of $1,545,933.83 as presented.

 

8.       I move to approve the November 2005 Cafeteria Report as presented by Aramark Educational Services. (Finance Item #0106-1)

 

9.       I move to approve the Carnegie Real Estate Tax Refunds for January 2006 as presented. (Finance Item #0106-2)

 

10.   I move to approve the adoption and participation in the program set forth by The Pathfinder School and the Allegheny Intermediate Unit to address the need for quality, cost-effective emotional support programs as presented. (Finance Item #0106-3)

 

11.   I move to adopt Resolution No. 409-06 which appoints Jordan Tax Service, Inc. as collector for current and delinquent earned income taxes for Crafton Borough Residents. (Finance Item #0106-4)

 

12.   I move to approve the 2005-2006 second quarter Activities Funds Report as presented. (Finance Item #0106-5)

 

13.   I move to approve the 2005-2006 second quarter Athletic Funds Report as presented. (Finance Item #0106-6)

 

·   Personnel

 

14.   I move to approve the addition(s) to the 2005-2006 school year Curriculum Coordinator Supplemental List as presented and recommended by the administrative staff. (Personnel Item #0106-1) TBP

 

15.   I move to approve the additions to the 2005-2006 Day-to-Day Substitute List as presented and recommended by the administrative staff. (Personnel Item #0106-2)

 

16.   I move to approve the internship of Duquesne University student Alicia Hilton for the second semester of the 2005-2006 school year. Miss Hilton will be placed in the high school guidance department and will work 15-20 hours per week. (Personnel Item #0106-3)

 

 

17.   I move to approve ____________ for the position of math after-school tutor at Crafton Elementary School for a one hour/three days per week tutoring program that will extend through April 2006. Salary will be paid at the teacher’s per diem rate. (Personnel Item #0106-4)

 

18.   I move to approve ____________ for the position of reading after-school tutor at Crafton Elementary School for a one hour/three days per week tutoring program that will extend through April 2006. Salary will be paid at the teacher’s per diem rate. (Personnel Item #0106-5)

 

19.   I move to approve David Kaercher for the position of Custodian #7 due to the retirement of Rudolph Van Hulten, effective January 23, 2006, with salary and benefits consistent with the collective bargaining unit agreement. (Personnel Item #0106-6)

20.   I move to approve Policy No. 011, adopting the Board’s Governance Standards and Codes of Conducts as presented. (Policy Item #0106-1)

 

21.   I move to approve the proposed policy in regards to home-schooled children and their participation in school activities and sports as provided by the solicitor. (Policy Item #0106-2)
