ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The 2014 spring musical, The Wizard of Oz, will be presented to audiences on April 10-12 at 7:30 pm and April 13 at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $10 reserved and $9 general admission, and can be reserved in advance by calling the ticket hotline at 412-429-2500, x2745.

Kindergarten Transition Night - We welcome all parents of incoming 2014-2015 school year kindergarten students to join us during transition night, focusing on math, reading and writing. Parents will learn about the kindergarten curriculum and standards and will work with kindergarten teachers to create activities to reinforce skills at home. The last of three sessions will be held:

The link below is a copy of the decision by the Pennsylvania Department of Education Office of the Secretary of Education. The decision dismisses the Petition for Formation of an Independent School District filed by the Rosslyn Farms Citizens for Education for purposes of transferring the Borough of Rosslyn Farms from the Carlynton School District to the Chartiers Valley School District. The decision states the petition by the Rosslyn Farms Citizens for Education is not meritorious from an educational standpoint.  PDE Decision
The district has learned that the Rosslyn Farms petitioners have filed an appeal to this decision.
